CROSSFADE AND CORONAVIRUS

These past few weeks have been a unique time for all of us. Like you, I am still learning how to adjust to this new reality. Naturally, both clients and venues alike are highly concerned about the whole social contact thing, hence this industry has been hugely impacted by the Coronavirus. Weddings and events have been and are being cancelled or postponed as I write this

Following the latest Government announcement regarding Covid-19 affecting social gatherings and the closure of venues, I now have no bookings between now and July. Inevitably, the entire industry has experienced mass cancellations and postponements of weddings, parties and events. Whilst this is extremely difficult for me as a self employed sole trader, I have decided not to untertake any bookings that will occur over the coming weeks, unless Government guidelines (changing on a daily basis) dictate otherwise.

If you have a booking with Crossfade and are concerned with the currrent situation, I would kindly ask you, as a sole trader that you postpone rather than cancel your event. I will do everything I can to help you with this.

However, I will remain open to new bookings occuring from 1st July 2020 onwards. However, these will be subject to revision nearer the time in accordance to Government guidlines at that time. Rest assured, as a sole trader, Crossfade will not be going anywhere in the meantime.

To summarise, keep well and stay safe. Keep in touch with your friends and loved ones. Pick up the phone and have a chat with someone, don’t be lonely! You can even call me if need be, and I MEAN it. We are all in this together and we will make through to the other side, wherever and whenever that may be. I for one can’t wait to get back out there doing what I love – entertaining people with great music! I look forward to seeing you on a dancefloor again some time. ‘Come On Eileen’ will now never sound the same again. Covid 19 – keep your hands clean!

We WILL meet again! Remember, our health, and that of our loved ones, comes first and foremost. Stay safe!

Peace, lots of love and big hugs to one and all,

Tom xxx
