Crossfade - The Soundtrack to Your Party.
The origins of Crossfade start back in the early 90's when I, with my keen interest in sound and lighting technology along with my love of music, decided to establish a mobile disco and fulfil one of my life ambitions.
I started to actively expand the already impressive music collection in 1993, saved up and built up an impressive disco rig which was ready to hit the road for it's first gig in spring 1995!

Since then, with steady expansion and investment the business has continued to grow.
I am proud to have built loyal customer base and a achieve a 100% reliability record over more than 15 years.
1998 also saw the creation of the first Crossfade website which has steadily evolved over the years into the site you see today.

I believe in "Quality, not quantity", which is why there is only one disco. This way you know that when you book Crossfade, 100% of my commitment is put into making sure your disco will be the soundtrack to your party!

I have the best part of 20 years experience, are extremely passionate and enthusiastic about DJ'ing and have a very professional approach to my work.

My love of music and keen interest in sound and lighting technology has helped me gain the skills, knowledge and ability to really please a crowd at any function be it a wedding, corporate event, birthday, college ball/bop, themed evening, Christmas party, Young Farmers event, or just about anything else you can think of!

I have a personal collection of around 600 original CDs offering a huge selection of over 10,000 tracks spanning the last six decades. Covering the vast majority of styles and genres, there is proof that practically everybody’s tastes can be satisfied by one DJ!
From the Rock 'n' Roll explosion, right through to the latest releases, everything is included. Even those that are up to a month ahead of general release! Naturally, all the classic floorfillers are there as well as those alternative classics.

During a set, all music is selected ‘there and then’ by means of reading the audience, responding to requests and dedications ensuring a packed dance floor and that everyone gets to hear the music they want.
In addition to my CDs, I sometimes likes to bring along the old vinyl collection, particularly if it is a themed evening such as an 80s night or School Disco, despite the collection being sadly outnumbered by CDs.

When not behind the decks, my interests include socialising, TV and films, food and drink, reading, cycling, swimming, motoring and of course, music (I eat, drink, breathe and sleep it!!) which includes lots of radio listening so I can keep an ear out for new releases and rediscover the odd classic which I can then share with the audience at the next gig.

Whatever your function or event, you can be rest assured of a great evening’s entertainment. Even if you have booked a live band, why not have both? My experience with bands and solo artists has given me the unique ability to ensure both mine and the band's sets complement each other perfectly.
